Die Tür ins Nichts
A lot of instrumental parts recorded in the summer of '21, even before the release of the second record,
as I knew I would not be able to bring a lot of musical
equipment with me to Germany. Some pieces use samples dating back to 2013 or the like. Spent 2022-2023
trying to bring some structure to the whole project, recording bass parts, before giving up. In 2024, picked it up again,
spent 2025 polishing and adding synth overdubs, writing lyrics, recording vocals and mixing.

Started working on this almost immediately after releasing the first record. A lot of inspiration originally came from some of the
dark ambient sounds from the soundtrack of "Twin Peaks: The Return". Most of the tracks written concurrently with the recording process,
although "Filth" is based on some very old riffs I'd had since 2012 or so. Instrumental to "Jack" recorded fully in Austin TX
on a cheap electric guitar I bought during COVID, played through a broken amp I picked up on the street. Vocals recorded in summer of '21.

A vaporwave record that originally started as an idea to combine 80s Soviet and 90s Russian pop-based vaporwave with noise rock,
was subsequently abandoned, and then resurrected with additional tracks based on my experiences living in the US replacing
the noise-rock parts (which were never recorded).
